Seattle is home to hundreds of volunteers who consistently choose to spend their personal time restoring our urban forest. We are each dedicated to a section of a natural space where we plant native plants, remove invasives, lead volunteer groups, and maintain a presence. This work is done in partnership with multiple partners including the Green Seattle Partnership, EarthCorps, Nature Consortium, Seattle Audubon, Washington Native Plant Society and Seattle Parks. Stewards are affiliated with many organizations beyond these. You can sign up to volunteer in a neighborhood park at GreenSeattle.org or one of these other organizations.

This site serves as an information hub for stewards and arose out of environmental education workshops offered by the Washington Native Plant Society and the GreenSeattle Partnership.
